This self-contained holiday home is a superb two-story early 18th century cottage, which is attached to the Queen Anne Whitfield House. Both properties feature beautiful architecture and are of significant historical interest. The house benefits from an interesting staircase leading from the first floor to the second, which features three spacious bedrooms. The house is available all year round and comfortably sleeps seven guests.
The cottage is conveniently set in a ‘conservation area’ in the country town of Wolsingham, in the lower regions of Weardale, and is ideal for exploring the surrounding North Pennines which is highly regarded as an "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty", offering an array of wonderful country walks.
There are many facilities for guests to actively enjoy within the near vicinity. Shops, Golf, fishing, swimming and pony trekking are all available locally. However, if you wish to explore further activities and attractions then Wolsingham is situated on the A689, with easy access to the A1 (M).
