Two cosy cottages nestled on a family run Northumbrian farm. Children and parents are encouraged to meet the animals and enjoy the peaceful countryside
Kellah Farm has been successfully farmed for 150 years by the Teasdale family, who now offer a fantastic base for exploring the historical Northumbrian countryside. Kellah has something to suit all tastes, whether you’re searching for contemporary B&B board or pleasant self-catering country cottages for a memorable family break.
Set only four miles from the renowned ‘centre of Britain’, each residence provides a relaxing base where you can enjoy pure privacy or head towards the hustle and bustle of Haltwhsitle for specialist shops and friendly pubs. Each of the rustic cottages were previously miner dwellings with many of the original features still present.
The South Tyne Trail passes nearby and is ideal for exploring the nature filled countryside. Enjoy spotting red squirrels on a stroll around Oak Wood and let the children meet our long-term resident canine, cattle and Scottish Blackface sheep. Help to feed the animals and observe the exciting day to day life on a working farm.
