This quaint country touring park is a family run establishment, where you are guaranteed a friendly welcome. The clean and well equipped site is surrounded by peaceful and picturesque landscape that overlooks the 13th century Finchale Priory ruins beside the River Wear meander.
The site is well managed and is made up of over 40 pitches for touring caravans, all complete with electricity hook-up points.
The excellent toilet block with showers, washing-up facilities, sockets and hairdryers is spacious and also allows access for wheelchairs and maintains disabled facilities. We ensure that our facilities are kept clean and a disposal point for chemical toilet waste is also conveniently based on-site.
There is an on-site shop which sells gas, basic food supplies and a small café providing delicious treats. A popular shopping complex also resides 1.5 miles away
There are many lovely attractions within easy reach of Finchale, including Durham Cathederal, Beamish, Washington Wild Fowl Park and the MetroCentre.
