Cromer House Camping Barn - Frosterley

This superb hostel style bunkhouse maintains self-catered sleeping accommodation that is conveniently situated for hiking and cycling holidays. Families and friends may get together and enjoy the superb surrounding landscapes of the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Durham Dales. We happily accommodate single sex or mixed groups and the rural retreat is also suitable for access mobility at level 2.

The barn is complete with a comprehensive range of modern facilities in the fully equipped kitchen. The small but cosy dining area with sofa bed and a contemporary toilet/shower wet room also reside on the ground floor. The four-bedded room with green-friendly wood burning stove is situated on the upper floor.

This 18th Century Green tourism restored barn nestles in the heart of Frosterley village in picturesque Weardale, and is a practical base for a fun-packed holiday. The local area contains the essential amenities, including two pubs, and a playground and fields for the kids.
