Situated within 30 acres of private land close to Berwick and the world-famous Holy Island is the grand building which houses the Garden Apartment and Elderberry Lodge. This beautiful residence, constructed in 1860, offers fantastic 4* accommodation.
Cheswick House was originally designed by Francis Wilson, a popular architect who specialised in religious institution design, which heavily influenced the magnificent Gothic elevations. The Crossman family possessed the building until it was purchased by Jean and Peter Bennett in 2002. The Bennett’s embarked on a long period of restoration and lovingly renovated the house and gardens to their former glory.
Guests now have a choice of two luxurious first floor apartments with access to the gardens, tennis court, bicycles and a host of woodland and coastal walks.
Cheswick is not only a favourite place visited again and again by guests, but the spacious grounds are also a cherished haven for a wonderful selection of bird and wildlife, including deer and badgers.
