A warm welcome awaits from Barbara and Charles, who have cultivated the land of Bamburgh Hall Farm for over 40 years and opened their home to guests for over 8 years to create a thriving bed and breakfast.
This 17th century dwelling was once home to the renowned rebellion Tom Forster who was cast in to the clutches of the law after defeat at the Derwentwater Rebellion in 1715. He then cunningly escaped the fateful Tower of London.
This elegant country house features four rooms over two floors. Each guestroom maintains a luxury en suite shower room and hot drink facilities. Both attic suite bedrooms benefit from views over the medieval Bamburgh Castle.
Thick bacon rashers, local sausages and the farms fresh free-range eggs, home-grown tomatoes and handpicked mushrooms await in a morning. Alternatively guests can select salmon kedgeree or a vegetarian feast. In an evening feel free to retire by the crackling fire of the drawing room.
